Change is Perpetual

Owning your own business is not easy but with patience and a loving wife to help keep up with everything I make it. We own a small cafeteria call DayDream Cafeteria. We make and prep all of the food ourselves. We have a few people employed with us to help man the register and prep meals. We serve both hot and cold options. There are challenges to running a food business. As easy as it may seem we have rules and regulations to uphold. Everything is temperature checked and logged multiple times a day. All food prep and packaging areas are well sanitized and we make sure to keep the sitting areas sparkling. We are strict with our employees about excellent hygiene and consistence of washing their hands between all tasks so there is no cross contamination. Another thing we pride in is our customer service. We want to keep the customers coming back. If any customer has an issue at all my wife is a great manager and fixes the problem with such grace. Happy Times

We have built a great little family tradition that each of our children gets to pick a movie and once a week they get ‘ Daddy Day ’. Daddy Day is where I spend the day with each of the kids to do something special with each of them. My wife, Christa came to me and said, “Steve I think you should take time out for each of the kids so you can bond with each one in their own special way.” I loved the idea and started doing Daddy Day. Our oldest is our son Cameron who is 6 years old. He is a fun kid that likes to make old Dad go to Lego movies and play Plants vs. Zombies on our Xbox. He jumps around and squeals and giggles as we play. He really loved it when we went to see the Lego Batman movie in theatres. He was so quiet and paid so close attention I thought he was in some kind of trance. Oh and then he about fell out of his seat laughing at the pink batman outfit. I couldn’t help but laugh either. Dentzz Dental Reviews - Thank God! I Visited Dentzz Dental Clinic

   I am writing this Dentzz review to give credit where credit is due. I have always had a fear of dentists after a traumatizing experience when I was a small child. Dentzz has changed my mind completely. Their friendly and welcoming receptionists eased my worries and the dentists and oral surgeons were very reassuring. I can be a bit clumsy at times. While trying to change an attachment on my industrial size mixer, I managed to knock out three of my front teeth. The attachment was good and stuck. When I had finally gotten it lose enough to release, I pulled on it to get it out. That attachment hit me dead in the mouth. It hurt like the dickens and I immediately started spitting out blood and teeth into my kitchen towel. My poor wife and I would go out and I would be too self-conscious to smile or speak. The times that I would, people indeed would gawk and stare. It got to the point where I didn’t want to embarrass my wife by accompanying her on outings anymo...

There is that American movie that says ‘Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get.’ I say life is like the open sea, vast and unknowing. Each of the waves are water made speed bumps to slow us down when, at times, we are moving too fast. Each horizon lights up new paths for us to choose from among our journey. Life is an endless ocean of opportunities. I have been given great opportunities in my life like being able to start a family and open up my own business.
